Abstract

Gandhi's overall thoughts have been discussed in this article. While Gandhi's path of truth and non-violence was considered essential for world peace and security, public participation in governance was also considered important for the development of the nation. In this article, Gandhi has also mentioned moral and spiritual values, the spirit of equality among all religions, Satyagraha, Ekadasha Vrat for personality development, and the principle of trusteeship. The said article presents the contemporary relevance of the thoughts propounded by Gandhi.
