Abstract

Sikar district of Rajasthan is known for its historical, cultural, and natural attractions. The objective of this research is to present a geographical introduction of the major tourist sites in Sikar district and to study their social significance. Sikar is an important part of the Shekhawati region, which is renowned for its grand havelis, ancient temples, forts, and vibrant culture. This study mainly describes places such as Laxmangarh Fort, Khatu Shyam Temple, Salasar Balaji, and Ramgarh Shekhawati. Along with this, the social and cultural impacts of these sites have also been analyzed. This study will prove helpful in promoting local tourism, preserving the region's cultural heritage, and understanding the role of these sites in social development.
